About me

Hi, my name is Jamie Elovsson and I am a sport for good proffesional with over 15 years experience with social impact programs in the civil, private, public and inter-governmental sector- all the sectors!

Origianlly from Canada, I have a background in international development and have always been an advid sport enthusiast both as a competitive player (mainly tennis and basketball) and of course as a fan (A life long and very passionate supporter of AS Roma football club). When I first realized that I could combine these passions and that sport was an excellent vechcile for social change, I jumped on the oppourtunity.

I have been very fortunate to work with a wide array of actors in different branches . I have managed grants, created a flagship program for the United Nations Office on Sport, managed CSR programs in the private sector, created new government funded programs complete with partner selection and M&E systems in the civil sector, managed NGO finances, created steering documents, created content and even founded a foundation- a little bit of everything which puts me in a great position to help organizations with their consulting needs.

Im open to all jobs big and small so please reach out and we can grab a coffee and see if it might be a fit

”The Japan Sports Council was very pleased in our collaboration with Jamie to deliver Monitoring and Evaluation workshops across Sweden”

Etsuko Yamada

Head of International Sport for Development at Japan Sport Council

“Jamie’s worked closely with the Cruyff Institute Sweden to engage athletes in the sport for social good arena via the Power of Sport Foundation. The partnership led to Cruyff Institute Sweden being involved in multiple UNOSDP youth Leadership camps and contributed to bringing Cruyff Courts to Sweden. Jamie has a vast knowledge of the field of sport for social good and I highly recommend him”.

Anders Sewerin

Founder of Cruyff Institute Sweden

It has been a pleasure to work with Jamie in the UN Office on Sport for Development and Peace. Jamie has excellent project and programme management skills as well as very good interpersonal skills. In particular, during his employment with UNOSDP, Jamie was very successful in setting up and managing a multi-stakeholder programme of youth training camps in multiple locations world-wide. This was a challenging task, both operationally and financially, but Jamie very successfully navigated the various challenges, developing this to become one of the flagship programmes of the office. I can highly recommend Jamie’s work.

Former Head of Office at the United Nations Office on Sport for Development and Peace
